Malachi 1:1-3 The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi. "I have loved you, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, 'Wherein hast Thou loved us?' Was not Esau Jacob's brother? Saith the Lord: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Romans 9:13 As it is written, "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated."
These Scriptures are not about God hating an embryo. God despised Esau for who he was and what he did in the 1st earth age. If Esau had changed in the 2nd earth age, he could have changed God's feelings about him surely. Judgment is with God and God alone so only He can determine if the changes in the 2nd earth age and those potentially to come in the Millennium will add him favor on Judgment Day.
