Born From Above

I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Isaiah 46:3 Hearken unto Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by Me from the belly, which are carried from the womb;

As per God's Plan, we are to be borne of the womb once in this 2nd earth age. Our spiritual bodies were incorruptible in the 1st age and will again be incorruptible in the 3rd earth age, but these flesh bodies are very corruptible in this 2nd earth age. Baptism

Baptism

Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. It is good to do once the age of accountability is reached and ready, but not necessary to have eternal life in the 3rd earth age. Asking Christ into your heart and believing on Him, the one true Christ is paramount, but not the symbolism of baptism itself. The sinner on the Cross with Christ was told He'd be in Heaven and he was just on the Cross saved and believed on Christ, but not baptized. Luke 23:39-43

When baptizing, Christ told us how it should be done:

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:

I Peter 3:31-22 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto Him.

Baptism is not what "gets you to heaven" or to think once baptized nothing you do can keep you from it. Believing on Christ and repentance and doing God's work daily is what will keep you in good standing. We are sinners in the flesh, so to think being washed clean once will keep us clean is folly. Thinking we need but be rebaptized is akin to resurrecting Christ over and over. It is not He that sins, but us continually...repent and do better is all that is necessary.  Once Saved Not Always Saved

Another misconception regarding baptism is that spoken of in John 3:3-8. Where it states that "except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God". This is referring to water birth (birth through the womb (water sac) of woman) in this 2nd earth age and not that of baptism. It is required that we come through this 2nd earth age the way in which God has stipulated and not through Satan's plan of fallen angels. Satan's Plan: Altering the Seedline...The Fallen Angels...

Teaching Children God's Word

Personally, I believe in always teaching children the truth about any matter on their level of maturity and understanding. In teaching my two, I utilize Discovering God's Natural Truth and this very blog along with my extensive study notes. Additionally, they have their very own KJV Bible for which to read and know God's Word for themselves. A particularly good one is Seaside Bible.

My intention is to create and provide you with an depth study aide just for teaching children God's Word. As soon as I have such a resource, I will post on this blog.

Discovering God's Natural Truth

Below is a write up about Discovering God's Natural Truth by The Shepherd's Chapel (and available from their library) which is a Bible study guide for children:

     A Bible Study Book Designed For Children: Many parents have wondered if there is a book that can help them in teaching God's Word to their children. Discovering God's Natural Truth was designed to lead a child through God's Word and assist parents in teaching God's overall plan. Children have a natural curiosity. They want to know how, when, where and why. Phyllis Downing, a mother who faced exactly the same challenge when teaching her own children decided to undertake the effort necessary to produce a children's Bible study book. She wisely involved her own children in helping her to design a book which, although very detailed, would teach children at their own level of understanding. Pastor Arnold Murray is pleased with the resultant colorful and very instructive book which any child can quickly learn about the Bible. Additionally, the pages are laminated in a way that allows for crayon marks or spills to be easily removed. In the future, the Chapel hopes to offer follow-on volumes to this wonderful children's book.

     The Parent Decides What Level To Teach: This book addresses some topics which parents might consider "too mature" for young children. For this reason, the book is made in a spiral notebook format. Pages may easily be removed and replaced, when parents believe their children are old enough to handle mature subjects. We recommend parents review the book completely, before they begin studies with their children. This book will also help Christians of any age understand the true story of the Bible, starting with the Book of Genesis.

Zechariah 14 = Revelation

Just as the Book of Daniel mirrors the Book of Revelation so too does Zechariah 14. Pastor Arnold Murray (with The Shepherd's Chapel) used to say that he could teach the entire book of Revelation from this one chapter in Zechariah.

The below is from notes taken from Pastor Arnold Murray's teaching of Zechariah 14:

verse 14:1 This is feminine because it's speaking of the city of Jerusalem because that's where it happens right there on Mt. Zion.

verse 14:2 Talking about Antichrist and what he's going to do; we won't have any part in that because we won't be deceived (ravaged women for example because they will "marry the wrong Messiah").

verse 14:3 Battle -- referring to the overthrow in the 1st earth age.

verse 14:4 Subject now is the Lord on the Lord's Day.

verse 14:5 Azal -- new name; no one knows exactly where this is.

verse 14:6 Means a continuous time; a new dimension.

verse 14:8 The Lord's Day.

verse 14:10 Geba=North; Rimmon=South; Tower of Hananeel=Whom God graciously gave--in other words, all the way around; one King of kings & Lord of lords on the Lord's Day. Some will be changed to spiritual bodies with eternal immortal souls (1st & 2nd Resurrections) & some will be changed to spiritual bodies with mortal souls awaiting Judgment Day.

verse 14:11 Wall to this city is God.

verse 14:12 Changing of flesh to spiritual bodies ) (Spiritual & Flesh Bodies).

verse 14:13 Against those that mislead & deceived & were deceived.

verse 14:14-15 Won't matter in that dimension; material wealth nor the beast of commerce.

verse 14:16 Feast of Tabernacles = harvest. Sacrifice is love. Revelation 21:20-24 --Nations are the ethnos; ethnic peoples. Hosea 6:6

verse 14:21 Canaanite should be Kenites here; those "sheep traffickers" from prior chapters.

To Uncover Your Father's Nakedness

Genesis 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

To see the nakedness of your father or to uncover you father's nakedness is a Hebrew colloquialism that means to lie with your father's wife. Ham's sin was that he had sexual relations with his father's wife. It was through this sin, not that of seeing his father unclothed, for which he was cursed by Noah.
