All souls were created in the 1st earth age and we all resided in our spiritual bodies there. The spiritual body is in a different dimension than these flesh bodies, but they are similar and represent us as we are in these flesh bodies. While there is no gender in Heaven, our very essence follows us in either dimension. Our souls are our "self" and our spirit is the intellect of our souls.
Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
The "US" were God's children (us) in our spiritual bodies with Him in heaven. God created all souls in that 1st earth age. We are created in our very images of our spiritual bodies just as Christ is God with us in the flesh on earth, we are our spiritual bodies here in the flesh on earth. [For simplicity I am only addressing this aspect of spiritual bodies/flesh bodies in this post....soon I will explain the difference in Adam on the 8th day and other man on the 6th day.]
I Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it.
Once we die in these flesh bodies, we instantly return to God in our spiritual bodies. These flesh bodies are where our souls reside until the flesh dies and then our soul resides in our spiritual bodies in that wonderful dimension with God. This is why God would say in I Corinthians 15:50 that while in the flesh we cannot see God as He is in a different dimension.
II Corinthians 5:6-8 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that , whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
So once we die in the flesh we are in our spiritual bodies in Heaven. But wait, Judgment Day hasn't yet occurred....where is everyone again? There is a gulf dividing those with God and those away from God. This isn't "purgatory" or hell as such, but a simple division between those having committed certain sins on earth in the flesh and who await the Millennium and Judgment Day as we all do [posts explaining further soon]. The story of Lazarus and the rich man relay this to us nicely: Luke 16:19-31
None of this is reincarnation. We do not live in these flesh bodies multiple times....just once in the flesh for the reasons given: Why The 2nd Earth Age?
