Revelation 16 is where you will find the 7 Vials. They are poured out primarily in the 6th & 7th Trumps. Most of the Vials correspond with the plagues in Egypt found in Exodus with the exception of the 4th Vial which is the only plague that was not experienced by the Egyptians during the Israelite's captivity. The 4th Vial pertains to the end & is the fire of Truth in Revelation 16:8-9.
Since The Two Witnesses will be able to do wondrous and supernatural things while here during the 6th Trump, and since the 6th Vial syncs up with the 6th Trump, it would make sense that the first five Vials would be poured out just before the close of the last 2 1/2 months of the 6th Trump with the two witnesses as instruments (akin to how Moses and Aaron were an instrument in Egypt).
Again, we will get into all of the symbolism of Revelation later, but know that waters & sea=people in this Chapter 16.

I've always heard that Jerusalem is the barometer to watch for end times prophecy - or something more or less to that effect. Do you think the vials are poured out more regionally, ie: Middle East, or are they global? I would think they are global - however given that the vials have not started pouring yet I find it interesting what the tie in might be to the ongoing, serious, and growing western U.S. and California drought? The water is literally drying up in this important region which provides fresh produce and fruits/nuts to the U.S., if not globally. It wouldn't take much to tip the precarious balance of our food system and contribute to a food famine. Modern society's reliance on industrial agriculture makes us more at risk for what is shaping up to be a 1930 dust bowl type scenario. Actually it occurs to me that the industrial agriculture sector itself has perhaps become a Type of the one world system.
Jerusalem is definitely the barometer to watch. Satan will return pretending to be Christ, I believe, where Christ ascended after He was crucified. Further, I believe the two witnesses will be slain where He died on the Cross. In an upcoming post dealing with the Parable of the Fig Tree, the planting of that time referenced occurred in 1948 in Israel.
I tend to think the vials will be global, but like Noah's Flood could be looked at as either global or regional.
I agree that the industrial agricultural state lends itself to the dependence upon which a one world system gets built and managed. I also think that God has always used nature to correct and redirect. It's definitely interesting times to keep an eye on and stay informed.
