The Churches of Revelation

Of the 7 Churches spoken of in Revelation 2-3 only was God pleased with 2 of them (Smyrna and Philadelphia) because they were the only churches who taught the Truth of God's Word and The Key of David.  Key of David
  1. Revelation 2:1-4 The Church of Ephesus took up with the traditions of man and didn't study God's Word.
  2. Revelation 2:8-10 The Church of Smyrna taught who the Kenites were in teaching The Key of David, and God was pleased with them. John 8:42-44
  3. Revelation 2:12-16 The Church of Pergamos taught for money and likened to Balaam who was a priest that liked money more than truth spoken of in Numbers 22-25. II Peter 2:15-16
  4. Revelation 2:18-27 The Church of Thyatira prophesied the "fly away doctrine" or following Jezebel...they worshiped the beauty of spurious messiah; Antichrist.
  5. Revelation 3:1-5 The Church of Sardis liked lots of little gods and were deader than a door nail to the Truth of God's Word.
  6. Revelation 3:7-12 The Church of Philadelphia kept God's Word and did not deny His Word.
  7. Revelation 3:14-21 The Church of Laodiceans don't make a stand; neither cold nor hot; never doing anything to cause controversy by teaching the whole Truth of God's Word.
Teaching the simple truth of God's Word is a rare find for sure, because churches don't want to cause controversy or ruffle feathers, and they certainly don't want to not receive funds for all the good feeling milk of the Word and traditions of man that they find easier to teach. They are no different than the money changers that Jesus contended with when He was here on earth in the 1st Advent. I have only found one church that teaches God's Word in all the years I've searched and that follows with the math of only 2 of 7 churches could God be pleased with in Revelation
